this super sweet lady deserves the “most patient client” award! when she 1st approached the JOandJARS team in early-september, we were just about to go on leave so we didn’t have time to conceptualise or send her a proposal. we then advised her to contact other companies, as we would only be back in singapore in october & didn’t want to hold up her wedding preparations. to our surprise, a week after our return she contacted us again to say that she hadn’t approached anyone else. however, we were busy preparing for events & had a lot of admin stuff to catch up on. as such, it took us some time to get back to her again.

when we finally got down to talking, however, she was such a joy to work with! this client knew exactly what she wanted, and indicated her preferences right from the start. of course, it was even more fun because she chose to inject Christmas elements! we soon learnt that she is a foodie & was recently a guest judge on channel U’s ‘melting pot’《新新料理》. it was really nice, getting to know more about her as a person – not just a client. also, this was our 1st time receiving a request to make signs preventing guests from eating the candy.

JOandJARS-CandyBuffet3 “when my emcee announced for people to go take the candy there was an uproar from the room that all gone!” our client only wanted her guests to take the goodies when they were leaving – instead of during the Four Seasons Hotel cocktail reception before the wedding luncheon. this is because she wanted all the guests (even latecomers!) to take pictures & “view the candy buffet in its full glory”. what a thoughtful bride, right?
